What is Saubhagya
Saubhagya is an Initiative to make Women Self-Employed. This is a platform that connects manufacturers (handicraft), Buyers and Sellers with a motive to help Women in the society. It provides a transparent, easy and instant medium to buy Jewellery Products directly from Women who is artisan (DESIGNED & DEVELOPED).
The women not only make the Jewellery but also do the exhibition and marketing. The female members of the Saubhagya have played a stellar role in empowering women. Their initiatives have helped women to add to their family income due to their efforts.
“I can see a new-found respect for me in my husband and children's eyes”, said with watery eyes, said Nita of Naranpura.
"I am now able to earn and save at least Rs. 4700 a month for the education of my children," said One of Women from Pragatinagar who organized Jewellery Exhibition and earned this money in a single day without investing anything.
Saubhagya has also been encouraging Women to make Jewellery by providing training and financial help. We're looking at establishing this type of cells in Ahmedabad and possibly expanding across the Gujarat with the response, help and support we have started getting from Women in the Society.
